Sarah Whyatt
MBACP (Snr Accred) Psychotherapist & Counselling Supervisor
Hello, I’m Sarah, a friendly and down-to-earth therapist based in Greater Manchester. I specialise in supporting neurodivergent clients and offer a trauma-informed, affirming and candid approach. My aim is to create a safe, non-judgemental space where you can bring what feels important and together we can make sense of your experiences in a way that feels real and meaningful.
I work with a range of issues including childhood trauma, relationship difficulties, anxiety disorders, depression, low self-esteem, ptsd, anger, ADHD and autism. I also work closely with the trans community, offering support around issues relating to gender and identity.
My work is integrative, meaning I draw on different approaches to suit you and your goals. These include person-centred therapy, transactional analysis (TA), CBT, solution-focused therapy (SFT), internal family systems (IFS), and EMDR trauma therapy. My style is warm, open, and collaborative; combining gentle exploration with practical strategies to help you move forward.
I offer sessions face-to-face near, online or via telephone.
